Mechanic Wanted!

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable Mechanic to join a busy workshop based in Belmont. This role offers stable hours and the opportunity to work with a well-established organisation that operates a large fleet of specialised vehicles.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are kept in safe working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a fleet of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
• Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to keep fleet availability high

Requirements

• Trade qualified Mechanic (Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle)
• Experience working on fleet vehicles, vans, or light trucks highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Full Australian driver’s licence (HR desirable but not essential)
• Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
